Recently the Star-Tribune out of Minneapolis published an article on the influx of refugees to mid-sized cities in America. No longer are New York, LA, or Chicago getting the most refugees. Smaller cities, like Minneapolis, are now experiencing a sizable growth in refugee populations. Below are excerpts from the article:

“In a major shift, the Twin Cities and a handful of other medium-size metro areas are eclipsing the nation’s largest cities — Chicago, New York and Los Angeles — as destinations for refugees, according to a report to be released today…

…’Metropolitan areas like the Twin Cities and Atlanta are surpassing Los Angeles and almost equaling the numbers going to New York City,’ said demographer Audrey Singer, chief author of the report…

…During this decade, the Twin Cities area has taken in slightly more than 10,000 refugees. That’s more than either Chicago or Los Angeles.”

Please pray… and keep your eyes open to how God might be bringing the nations to your door step!
