A few things to keep in your prayers…

1. Today I made our first contact with the Greek consulate in Chicago. Although I blanked on all the Greek I know – which isn’t much – when the man on the other end of the phone offered a polite greeting in Greek, it was a good first step. After my silence, he figured out that my Greek wasn’t up to par and spoke to me in perfect English. He was quite friendly and pointed me in the right direction, but something gives me the idea that this is just the beginning of a long and confusing series of interactions with the consulate. Please, keep us in your prayers as we begin to seek our residency permit.

2. Praise God for His provision, as we now have roughly three-quarters of our support in line. Also, continue to pray as we seek to finish up all of our support raising by June 1st.

3. Between papers, report cards, sermons, visa issues, packing lists, training assignments, mentoring projects, and graduation, we are really quite busy. Please pray for our sanity and perseverance.

Thanks so much for your partnership, support, prayers, love, encouragement, and everything else. We need every ounce of it! Have a great weekend!
