The countdown continues: 11 days until training in Elgin. Kristin and I are both busy finishing our pre-training assignments, which are due this Friday. Currently we’re both working through a pretty detailed “spiritual gifts” inventory. We’ll let you know what we find out.
This week we’re also getting some last minute check-ups and appointments: dentists, doctors, optometrists. Apparently I have some serious tooth problems: external reabsorbion (my tooth is hollowing itself out from the inside). In the next month I will have several dentist appointments in order to get the tooth fixed. This series of appointments begins tomorrow when I will get my gums worked on. Not very fun, but I’d rather get it taken care of before we leave for Greece. Kristin is excited to finish the school year. She just has six school days left, which includes report card pick-ups. She loves the kids and the community, but is excited to transition into the next phase of life. Thanks so much for your continued prayers!
