Thanks for all your prayers! Friday’s trip to the Greek consulate went very smoothly. The passport officer said that she does not expect that we should have any problems in receiving our visas. Our passports are currently in Greece (or in transport to Greece), where the actual visas will be affixed to our passports. We should get our passports back in about 10 days.

The visas will allow us to stay in Greece for 90 days, which is the same length of time that our passport itself (with no visa) affords. The difference is that the visa allows us to apply for a residence permit once we are in Greece (which gives us 365 days in Greece – after which we can “simply” reapply). We need to run to class, but we wanted to give you all a quick update, and thank you for your continued prayers and support!
