We ask that you would join us in prayer for some refugee friends.

1. Over the last month, we been receiving an influx of Afghan families at the ARC. These families (often single parent households) are particularly vulnerable. Several have young infants, and yet have no safe or reliable shelter. Several of these women have resorted to sleeping in the parks with their children. Obviously, these are horrible conditions for anyone, but particularly so for the young children. Please pray that God would provide a place for these families.

2. Pray for my friend “M” from Palestine. Although he has been hostile to Christianity in the past, he has recently asked for a New Testament. Please pray that his eyes would be opened and his heart would be softened.

3. The English classes are overflowing. Kristin will often have 30 students in a classroom designed for 20. In addition to learning basic grammar and verbs, the students love to hear the Bible stories that Kristin is teaching from. Pray for her and her eager students!
