Ramadan is a holy month in the Islamic calender, marked with daytime fasting for each of its 30 days. This year Ramadan began on September 1st. Will you spend some intentional time this month praying for dawn of Christ’s light to break throughout the Muslim world (from Morocco to Indonesia)? Many areas of the so-called 10/40 window have no “gospel presence” (churches, literature, bibles, active believers, etc.) whatsoever. Please pray for Christ to raise up His church in these parts of the world. Pray for God to act in the lives of Muslims, that many would turn to Jesus for salvation. Also, pray for Christians from a Muslim background – for their maturity, leadership, and safety.

For whatever reason, God desires to use us (His church) to accomplish His goals in this world, including making the gospel of Jesus Christ known throughout the world. Many of you do not work or live among Muslims, but this does not mean that you can’t have a Kingdom impact in the Muslim world. Please pray! There is a helpful website – www.30-days.net – that has prayer suggestions for each day of Ramadan. As always, thanks for your prayers from here in Athens.
