What a trip! We had a great time, but are glad to be sleeping in our own beds, in our own house, in our own city! Despite the congestion and graffiti, there is something special about returning to Athens – the life pulsating through its crowded thoroughfares, the warm familiarity of its lights and landmarks. We had a wonderful time. Central Greece is marvelously beautiful at this time of year. Our highlights include the mountain village of Ambelakia, the seaside beauty of Kala Nera, the breath-taking views from Mount Pilio, and the beach at Mylopotamos, for which no adjectives suffice (see the picture below). We’ll post more pictures on Friday. Until then, please remember our team in prayer as we’re meeting together this week to solidify our fall/winter schedule. Pray that not only our decisions, but our decision-making process would honor God and glorify Christ. Thanks!
