Happy Friday! Last week a group of teammates travel to Patras, about three hours west of Athens, to serve refugees with the local Greek Evangelical Free Church. You may remember some of our past visits to Patras – here and here, for example. The conditions there are simply unacceptable – men picking through the trash for food, living in storm drains; they feel less than human. Our teammates offered simple things (a small bag of food, literature, conversation), but with great hope in God’s power to work through the simplest of offerings! Please continue to pray for the situation in Patras. Please pray for the refugees. And please pray for the church in Patras, that God would continue to burden its heart for the nations that God is bringing to their doorstep!
