Hi Praying Friends –

We hope that you’re well and enjoying Spring! As you prepare to celebrate Easter this weekend, would you keep our ministry in your prayers? Your prayers means so much to us. Here are five ways to partner with us in prayer this week.

1 – Easter Outreaches: We’re in the midst of our Easter Outreaches. In all, we’ll have five Easter parties, providing an opportunity to share the hope of Easter with over 500 people! Pray that many refugees would respond by placing their faith in the risen Messiah. Pray that lives and families will be transformed by following Jesus.

2 – Baptism: Praise God with us for the baptism of our Afghan brother. Read “G’s” testimony here. Praise God and pray for our new brother!

3 – Family Retreat: On Thursday and Friday of this week, a group of teammates will offer a “seekers retreat” for 4 or 5 families (women and children) that we’ve been working closely with. This will be a great opportunity for teaching, asking questions, and having spiritual conversations. Pray that several of these women will put their faith in Jesus!

4 – Summer Camps: We’re in the midst of planning and preparing for a great summer of outreach and discipleship. We’ll partner with two separate camps to serve and love refugee children. We’ll send about 25 Greek-speaking refugee children to a Greek church camp in the village of Kalamos; we’ll also provide several staff members for a refugee family camp (partnering with Hellenic Ministries) in June. Will you give to help make these camps a reality? Give here – and simply designate your gift to “Helping Hands – Summer Camps.” Please pray for these camps – that even now, God’s Spirit would be a work in the lives of the refugee children that will attend!

5 – Greek Leadership: I’ve been very encouraged to see how God continues to raise up Greeks with a heart to love and serve refugees! An integral part of our long-term vision (and central to my heart in missions) is to see God rise up national (Greek) leadership with vision and passion for refugees. We’re asking for God to provide a Greek for the daily leadership of the ministry here. Would you join us in prayer as we make this need known to churches around Greece?

You’re prayers are huge. Thanks for partnering with us as God reaches the nations from Athens!
