This time next week, we’ll be on a plane headed westward.  There are certainly a lot of details to finish up in this final week.  Most important of all – and most difficult of all – is saying goodbye.  We are overwhelmed with thankfulness as we consider the many great relationships that God has blessed us with here: refugee friends, whose stories of courage and hope will never leave us; teammates, whose love and friendship make this such a hard goodbye; church family, who have accepted us and welcomed us into their homes and their hearts.  Saying goodbye is never easy… but we’re thankful for this time to reflect on the amazing relationships and deep love that we’ve experienced in this place.

Saying goodbye to friends at the Refugee Center
I’ve seen these faces every Saturday for five years – and shared many cups of tea together!
Friends!
Saying goodbye to Athens near the Akropolis (and a great day for a family portrait).
